In the first step, you need to define your organization. Two elements are required if you want the system to generate forecast calendars: locations and holiday schedules.
You have to define locations in order to specify time zones and work days. You can display the actors defined on this location.
You also need to define holiday schedules in order to track common public holidays (or events) that are shared by many people, in a specific country or region. Each actor defined in the system has to be attached to a location and a holiday schedule, that's how the system can take care of presence or absence, for a day, a half day or even some hours. You can display the actors using this holiday schedule.
