The few explanations below provide you the instructions in order to get you ready to start using Factory. Moreover, most of the time a few screen shots is sometimes better than a thousand pages manual (however, a complete documentation is scheduled to be written).

Here are the basic steps : define your organization, define your actors, define your teams, define your projects, create plans, generate forecast calendars and track statuses. Then loop on successive versions of your project plans and generate new forecasts until your projects are complete.

Factory plan
The workspace is composed by a tool bar (on top), a search panel (on the left), a data panel (in the center of the workspace), then a message, calendar, diagram and preference panel (on bottom).

At any time, for any data, you can display dates using a calendar view.
